Data Engineer

Building a scalable data lakehouse and data platform architecture at Rheinmetall Space for very large, heterogeneous datasets (image, video, sensor, and geodata) to create a robust data foundation for machine learning applications and autonomous systems. The role designs data and storage strategies as well as semantic data models, develops batch and streaming pipelines, and operates the platform on distributed Kubernetes infrastructure with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD integration.
