Hosting

This website runs on a server provided by netcup GmbH, Karlsruhe, Germany. The server is located in netcup's data centre in Vienna, Austria. The visitor statistics (Umami, see below) also run on a separate netcup server in Vienna. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with netcup. Data Collection

No personal data is stored when you visit this website. We use Umami Analytics - a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool that:

• sets no cookies
• collects no personal data
• stores no IP addresses
• operates in a GDPR-compliant manner without a cookie banner

Anonymised page view statistics are recorded (page name, dwell time, country based on rounded IP hash).

In addition, Umami counts, equally anonymously, how often certain buttons and functions are used: "Apply now" and "Original job ad" on a job page (job page, company), "Apply now" on the profile page, "Book a call" as well as phone and email links on the page for employers, and the job search (selected filter, type of a selected search suggestion, number of results). What you type into the search is not transmitted. The page language is recorded for all counts. This does not create any link to you as a person.

Settings Stored in Your Browser

We store two settings that you choose yourself in your browser, so that the website remembers them on your next visit. Nothing is stored until you use the respective toggle.

Language preference (when you switch between German and English using the language toggle):

• Content: only de or en
• Storage period: 1 year

Light or dark mode (when you switch the display):
• Type: entry in your browser's local storage (localStorage)
• Name: dx-theme-v2
• Content: only light or dark
• Storage period: until you delete it in your browser; it is never sent to us

Neither entry contains personal data, is used for tracking or is shared with third parties. Both are strictly necessary for a function you have explicitly requested and are therefore permitted without consent under § 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a user-friendly display). You can delete both entries at any time in your browser settings.

External Links (Job Listings)

This website links to job listings on third-party career pages. When you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies. We have no influence on the data processing carried out there.

Booking a Meeting via HubSpot

On the pages "For Employers" and "For Press" you can book a meeting with us via a link. The booking page at hubspot.sw-xperts.com runs on HubSpot, software provided by HubSpot Ireland Limited, One Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.

This website itself loads no content from HubSpot. Data is only sent to HubSpot once you follow the link. On the booking page we process the details you enter there (name, email address, chosen time slot and, if provided, your message) in order to arrange and hold the meeting. HubSpot processes this data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR and stores it in its EU data centre. HubSpot's cookie notice, shown to you on the booking page, also applies there.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a business relationship). A transfer to HubSpot, Inc. in the USA cannot be ruled out. It is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep the data for as long as needed for the meeting and any resulting business relationship. More information: HubSpot Privacy Policy.

Business Contacts

When companies work with us or get in touch with us, for example in the context of a permission to publish their job postings, we process the name, position and contact details of their contact persons. We also store contact details that companies state in their publicly accessible job postings. We do not publish these details on this website.

We use these details to communicate with the company and in the context of the business relationship between softwareXperts GmbH and the company. We do not pass them on to third parties. We manage the details in the CRM system HubSpot. HubSpot processes them on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in communicating with business partners. We keep the details for as long as the business relationship exists or until you object. Beyond that, we only keep them where statutory retention obligations apply. To object, a message to datenschutz@sw-xperts.comis sufficient.

You have the right to:
