Flight Control Software Developer

Rheinmetall develops flight control software for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) under 25 kg, based on the open-source autopilot software PX4, including the integration of new sensors and actuators and validation through simulation and flight testing. The role develops, implements and tests control algorithms mainly for multicopters, adapts PX4 to specific platforms, and conducts HIL simulations as well as real flight tests for validation, working closely with teams from visual-based navigation, AI development and system engineering.
